Showered with love

Lilly's "To-Be" Aunts and Uncles hosted a baby shower for Jeremiah and I at the end of June! It was so special and fun to be around friends and family during this special time. Since the Uncles were hosting too it was a co-ed baby shower. Lots of fun!

My cousin Meredith painted us the cutest picture of Lilly and Mocha. It is hanging in her nursery! Just precious!

Nursery and Nesting

So... since school has been out I have been busy working on Lilly's nursery and nesting around the house. Jeremiah was hesitant at first. First of all he was on my case wondering why I was starting on the nursery so soon! I think he frequently forgets that little Lilly will be here before we know it! He said... "Why don't you just do all this once she gets here?" I think he is a little crazy in the head, but after things got well underway he was very onboard! People would come over or call him and ask what he is doing and he would reply with, "We are NESTING!" Ha! It has been really fun though! A huge thanks to my mom for coming in town to help me! I couldn't have done it without her! and Uncle Queso for helping us with the crib and changing table assembly while Jeremiah was working.

Below are some pics for your enjoyment! I'm still waiting on the crib bedding and chair, as well as some other nursery necessities like a changing pad, etc.! So I will post more finished pics when they arrive!

Lillian Grace

We finally have a name for our sweet little girl! We have been wrestling with this for a while going back and forth on a few names, but we have now decided and couldn't love the name more! We are going to name her Lillian Grace, and we plan to call her Lilly, but there are already lots of variations and nicknames brewing. :)

Lillian Vernon Robertson Jordan is one of my great grandmothers. I love family history and think it is so special to carry on the name for another generation!
