Halloween!

Lilly's first Halloween was very eventful! She went trick or treating at Tia Mel and Uncle Queso's house! She also got to witness the madness of all the trick or treaters in our neighborhood! It was all she could have dreamed of and more...

Pumpkin Patch

Lulu and I took Lilly to the Pumpkin Patch at the Arboretum. It was beautiful! We had fun posing L for a photo shoot in her bear Halloween costume! :)

Happy Birthday Tia Mel!

Lilly is so blessed to have Tia Mel so close by. She loves to visit and promises to always have gum! :) She can hardly keep her hands off this sweet girl and loves to hold and cuddle her. Happy Birthday Tia Mel!

Lilly meets Mocha

My cousin kept Mocha for us while we were in the hospital. She groomed her and got her all spiffed up to meet her new little sis! You can't see it :( but she even got the bandana she is wearing monogrammed with "I'm the BIG sister." So precious! Mocha is actually handling the addition of Lilly quite well! She always tries to give her kisses. Someone said that dogs' mouths are more sanitary than human mouths. Seems hard to believe, but I sure hope so!

Lillian Grace Marshall

Lillian Grace Marshall arrived Monday, October 11th, 2010 at 11:23pm. She weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches long! She is perfect and these past couple of weeks have been so fun, busy, and exhausting! I'm going to try to catch up on the blog now that we are home and getting settled into a routine. She has already changed so much over the past couple of weeks so stay tuned! :)

So ALERT!

Fall is here! Where is Lilly??

Yes... I'm still pregnant. I honestly have to say I thought Lilly would be late and I did think she wanted to be an October baby... but I never expected her to be 8+ days late. We are really trying to embrace and take advantage of these last days before we embark on parenthood. We have been catching up on our favorite tv shows, going to the movies, eating out, taking lots of nice walks, enjoying quality time with each other, and I've been soaking up massages and mani/pedis to reward and relax my very pregnant body. :) I think it's going to be weird not being pregnant soon. Where am I going to rest my glass and my hands once the bump is gone? I also think I'm going to miss her moving inside me. Although it sometimes hurts, I love feeling her squirm!

Yesterday I had my 41 week doctor appointment. Everything checked out great! We even got to have a sonogram to make sure everything looked good with Miss Lilly! They are estimating that she currently weighs around 8 lbs. 9 oz. (give or take a lb. for inaccuracy). She is going to be a cute chunky monkey! We are going to wait it out through the weekend, but if we don't have any action I will be induced on Monday morning. We can't wait to meet you L! I hope you aren't this stubborn once you are on the outside! :)

In efforts to keep busy and preoccupied our house is decorated for FALL! I love this time of the year! The beautiful weather, the leaves changing, the smell in the air, football season, Halloween, and all things pumpkin!
