take three

For take three we headed to the Arboretum for some pics with pumpkins. L was feeling a bit under the weather so we got some serious faces with some funny ones mixed in. :) 

It's a relief to finally have gone through all those pics. Now you can see why I put it off for so long! Thanks for being patient with the time travel.

take two

For take two we trekked to the Nature Preserve. I don't feel like we made the most of the location but we had fun nonetheless. We were a little more thematic this time around... hence the balloons for her b-day, the pumpkins for October (her b-day month), and bug antennas for her bug party. I wanted to do balloons for the first shoot, but who knew you had to place an order for helium inflated balloons way in advance. I was bummed... but I guess it gave us an excuse for a "take two." This time around I messed with some black and white and antique-ing just for fun. :)

An end to a long and exhausting day. By the end of it Lilly was spent and we were too!
