For those of you that are wondering... and those that were brave enough to ask...
A nini (pronounced: nee nee) is a baby. My sister, Melissa, got the term from some of her college friends her freshman year and it has stuck ever since.
A couple of other terms you might want to add to your vocabulary.
* nana (pronounced nah nah)- one who is a young child
* nono (pronounced no no)- one who is quite old :)
