Boy we've been busy and I feel like I'm playing catch up! Here is a synopsis in iphone pics of just our day to day events. I'm adding more details to the big events that took place during these months with independent posts, but the funny, daily moments are definitely worth documenting!
Once or twice a week we go to the chiropractor and Lilly loves to get adjusted! She wants to get adjusted by Dr. Tom and Dr. Autumn each time... one doc per visit is just not enough. She hops from one table to the next. :) Dr. Autumn was my doula when Lilly was born.
We pick up Tia to go with us and then afterwards we eat lunch. One day we found out that Lilly loves lemons! She didn't even make a sour face!
She's eating all sorts of foods. *Favorites* are: oatmeal, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and guacamole. L is allergic to dairy and peanuts so we avoid those!
Every now and then we have a mommy/daughter lunch date. L loves to wave hi and be social with everyone that walks in the door.
L loves to cruise in her cozy coupe and on her wheelie bug. She gets in or on all the time and waits to be pushed around!
A couple of pics in L's favorite chair!
This has been a pretty mild winter so we have been lucky to enjoy some time outside. L has grown to love her swing!
L's favorite words are dog and kittycat. She says them all the time!!! If you ask "Where's Mocha?" she says, "DOG!" (and looks around)... And if you say "Where's Sam?" she says, "Kittycat!" It's crazy all she understands. Asking those questions is one of the best ways to divert a meltdown. They immediately make her happy and she starts the search around the house for the animals. The other day we were sitting around the table with Tia, Uncle Queso, Jere, L and me. We went around the room saying, "Where's ____?" She could identify each one of us by making eye contact. So sweet!
Dress up is another of L's favorite activities right now! She loves to wear my necklaces and put on her beads as necklaces, wear Sam's collars as bracelets, carry purses, lunch boxes, bags, put my tops around her neck and sometimes even the unmentionables. :) She is a HOOT! It's hard to keep the house clean, much less get much done with this little tornado in town.
This is L's favorite hiding spot. It is in our bedroom and is meant as a laundry shoot. We don't really use it as that, so L has claimed it as her own little haven. She crawls in there, hides out, stashes her toys, and plays! You never know what you might find in there and it is always a good place to check if something goes missing...
I love this nugget who now has 16 teeth! Her incisors have broken through and are almost all the way in.

Someone found the ice cream!
L loves Little Gym. It has been perfect for her to run around and let out some steam while it's been a bit chilly out.
Playing with the jingle bells!
Balancing on the beam...
L's favorite activity... doing somersaults over this big rolly thing!!!
BUBBLES
This is funny... Lilly surfed on this big wheel and then did a somersault. Then when we went to film it... she chickened out. We were still proud of her nonetheless and she did conquer her fear before the end of the day!
We've been attending some fun 1 year birthday parties for our friends! These are all the kiddos at Cage's 1 year pjs and pancakes shindig.
Lilly had her first trip to the dentist. I'm not sure if I jumped the gun on this one, but the pediatrician recommended it at 1 year and I put it off until about 15 months. Lilly did great and loved playing with all the toys and the animals with their big teeth. :) She got her teeth cleaned, flossed, and a fluoride treatment. She was the hit of the office and left with all sorts of goodies including a personalized balloon.
Nothing like a little destruction. She found my bobby pins and pulled every one off the card. Caught in the act!!!
L loves school even though it might be a controversial statement based on this picture. She saw me when I came to pick her up and wanted me to get her out. I love this picture... she looks so sad but was happy as a clam before she saw me. :) L loves EXIT signs and always points to them and makes a sound. Her teacher, Miss Wanda, made EXIT signs to post around the classroom because she likes them so much.
At L's 15 month appointment Lilly checked out great! She's growing up so fast, but she's a petite little thing!
*15 month stats*
Height: 30 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 19 pounds 8 ounces (8th percentile)
Head Circumference: 43.8 centimeters (8th percentile)
